Vickie Hutton started working for Hauber &James Tax & Financial Services in 2001. In 2006 she became the Vice President & Treasurer of the Corporation. In January, 2009, Vickie purchased the Corporation & was the President & sole owner of VL Hutton Ltd. In 2021 Erik became the Vice President and he is now the President and is taking over the busienss.. She has over 30 years of bookkeeping experience and 20+ years of tax preparation experience. She specializes in bookkeeping for small businesses, payroll and certified payroll. Vickie also specializes in partnership, sole proprietor, individual & S-corporation tax returns. In April 2014 passed the IRS exams & is now an Enrolled Agent. Customer Service is her #1 priority & she likes to meet with all clients to ensure she will be providing the services wanted & needed. She is a member of the National Association of Tax Professionals.

Erik Reyna, President, BA
Erik started working at VLH in February 2017 as a temporary employee to help out during tax season. He is now permanent and is the bookkeeper handling our condo association clients. Erik also has a few other bookkeeping and payroll clients. He recently obtained his bachelor's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting. In 2021 Erik became a part owner and was the Vice President of the corporation. In 2022 he became the President. Erik is a long time resident of Juneau. After graduating High School he attended UAS of Fairbanks. He has studied in different fields including Fire Science & Homeland Security/Emergency Management. He proclaims to be a generic guy ~ he loves being physically active and is also a big sports fanatic.
Melissa joined our team in December of 2021. She processes payroll and does bookkeeping for multiple clients. She even helps prepare tax returns. Melissa is currently pursuing a degree in Business with a focus in Accounting. She is also our front office manager and assists with general questions, scheduling and record keeping. In her off time Melissa enjoys video games, cooking, baking and science fiction.
